Bureau of Consular Affairs of International Students Studying at Universities in Mazandaran province Is Inaugurated at UMZ
According to the Office of International and Scientific Cooperation of UMZ, the Bureau of Consular Affairs of International Students was inaugurated on March 15, 2021. The inauguration ceremony was held in the Central Organization of the university. BCF started its activities under the supervision of the Office of International and Scientific Cooperation and is now located in the first floor of the International Office.
In the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by guests from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT) and representatives of some universities of the province, Dr. Nozari, UMZ President, expressed hope that, “BCF would be able to handle the consular affairs related to non-Iranian students more conveniently”.
In another part of his speech, he said: “while appreciating the praiseworthy efforts of the officials of the Consular Affairs Department of the MSRT in paving the way for launching this office at UMZ, we should know that based on MSRT’s long-term policies, our university needs to standardize its infrastructure and improve its international students facilities in order to make it possible to have more students from different places, especially from the neighboring countries.”
